Great Dinner

GREAT DINNER

When you eat the same type of food every day....it is really great to get something different for dinner. That happened yesterday!

Yesterday I hung out with a brother from my year at Stanford's Ujamaa House - the African-American Theme Dorm (where students participate in a new learning experience concerning Black culture & history every year).

In those days (waay back in 2004-05), Patrick was a freshman...now he's all grown up (snifle)...in Beijing in 3rd year Chinese (some people are smart and start early) and writing his honors thesis in International Relations.

YAY I.R.!!! I are I.R. I think therefore I.R.

Dinner at this Indian Restaurant was great! It is the best Indian food I have ever had in my life!

I needed a break from Chinese food. It seems like I eat Chinese food everyday, every meal...it's like I am in China or something crazy like that!

I'm sure that when I depart I will probably have cravings for Beijing Chinese food instead of the orange chicken down the block. Don't get me wrong - I will always love my Americanized Chinese food...and never take away my fortune cookies....but Beijing food is daaaannngg good too.

Hmmm, am I hungry right now? This is a hungry blog entry.
